Bikram Yoga is a challenging and dynamic series designed to systematically work every muscle, ligament, tendon, organ, gland, cell, and joint in the body. Formulated by Bikram Choudery over 30 years ago, the series builds strength, flexibility and balance, working all of themajor regulatory systems of the body, including the cardiovascular, circulatory, and lymphatic systems. Each class is 90 minutes long, consisting of a set series of 26 postures with 2 breathing exercises at the beginning and at the end. In addition to building strength within the body, it helps tone all of the major internal organs by means of twisting, elongating,and compressing within the asanas (postures), aiding in the elimination of waste and toxins. This series cleanses and works the body from the inside out. It is a beginner series so anyone* can share in the benefits. Accessible to all, whether you are overweight, underweight, youngor old, it is a tremendously powerful and healing practice.
