When Nicholai was very young he knew that his only passion in life was to become a great artist. Drawing, painting and creating came naturally to this Trinidad born, New York based artist. Pulling from his life experiences has given Nicholai a unique take on following his dreams. Nicholai Khan uses everything from leaves, jewelry, oil based markers, diamonds, spray paint, glue, rivets, wood filler, flowers and any other items he can put his hands on. The unique techniques he uses and the manner in which they are applied is what sets this artist apart from others. All of these things combined with an original style and much focus on technique form great pieces of artwork that are as layered and enigmatic as the artist himself. Seeing him paint is like watching chaos turn into beauty. Nicholai currently travels all of over the world (Egypt, India, Japan, Trinidad, Jamaica, and many other locations) showing the power of creative expression to as many people as he can. He teaches children and adults alike to unconditionally help one another and what it means to be truly inspired. In New York City Nicholai has done shows at the esteemed National Arts Club in Gramercy Park, has ongoing works at Five Pointz in Queens, and many other events/shows throughout the city. In the future Nicholai Khan hopes to help influence a world of self-thinking individuals to embrace their inner artist. Nicholai Khan is a movement of his own, he helps many other artists, enthusiasts, and people to be driven or inspired. He has become a strong positive force in the World of Art today, and has definite plans to continue producing unique and thought provoking Art for years to come.
