Laurence Associates was established as a Chartered Town Planning Consultancy in 1993. Our work is primarily in Cornwall and Devon, but we also have clients spread throughout the UK. There has been significant recent growth in the practice and expansion of functions to include a dynamic and comprehensive design team such that we now offer a comprehensive service as Chartered Town Planners & Architectural Consultants. Our main planning services include site appraisals, applications and appeals relating to planning, listed buildings/conservation area matters, local development framework representations, acting as expert witness and advocacy. There is particular expertise relating to residential and holiday accommodation proposals, together with enforcement and certificate of lawfulness matters. The design services include site appraisals and liaising with clients in order to interpret their briefs to the best possible advantage. We produce CAD plans for use in the submission of planning and Building Regulations applications. We also produce three-dimensional models, photomontages, and animations which are powerful tools in the presentation of proposals. Laurence Associates provides a service tailored to individual client needs. This can range from advising on discrete individual issues to providing the complete field to foundation service.
